How do I install Zero MusicPlayer on my computer?
The Zero MusicPlayer package provided on the download page is a minimum impact installation. The entire program is supplied packed in a ZIP file. Simply open the ZIP file and save the contents unchanged in any directory where you have read and write access. This way your computer system remains free of unnecessary registry entries and registered DLL's.

If you want to "uninstall" Zero MusicPlayer simply delete the directory and Zero MusicPlayer will be completely removed from your computer.

What are the minimal system requirements in order to use Zero MusicPlayer?
Zero MusicPlayer requires the Microsoft .Net Framework 3.5 install on either a Windows XP or Windows Vista computer.

You will also need the Windows Media Player version 9 or higher installed on your computer. Both of which can be downloaded from the Microsoft Website.

You can test your system for all required software from the "System Check" webpage located on this website. You must be using the Microsoft Internet Explorer with Java Script activated in order for the system check to function.

Why does the Zero MusicPlayer look distorted and/or the animation choppy?
Zero MusicPlayer works best on computers with a seperate graphic card for rendering the graphic intensive user interface.

If you are experiencing poor rendering of the graphics and/or poor animation performance try changing the graphic card parameters to allow more graphic quality.

How do I fill the Zero MusicPlayer music library?
The Zero MusicPlayer accesses the media library of the Window Media Player (versions 9, 10 and 11). Simply continue to use the Window Media Player to store and save your music. For best results allow the Windows Media Player to load media information from the Internet.

How do I get rid of the pop-up window during playback?
The pop-up window appears when the application was unable to locate a valid license file (ZeroLicense.zlf). Follow the directions provided in the help file supplied with the Zero MusicPlayer to load your license file. Push the "F1" key while the Zero MusicPlayer is the 'top most' application in order to access the help file.

In order to make Zero MusicPlayer the 'top most' application simply click somewhere on the Zero MusicPlayer with the mouse cursor.

Where do I get a license for Zero MusicPlayer?
You can get a license for Zero MusicPlayer from ASB Database & Software Solutions. Simply click the button "Request Purchase Information" in the pop-up window that appears during playback. The pop-up window appears during playback for unregistered players. Please use this function from the computer for which the license is intended.

Why doesn't Zero MusicPlayer show any album information or album art?
Be certain that you have allowed the Windows Media Player to save album information and album art from the Internet. In this way, the media library should be filled with all relevant data - including album art. Please follow the instructions in the help file provided with your Windows Media Player version.

Please note: Zero MusicPlayer must be started from the 'User' who filled the media library.
Note also, that Zero MusicPlayer supports the Windows Media Player version 9 only under Windows XP. Although a Windows Media Player version 9 is available for Windows 2000 the media library is not conform with the XP version.

How do I access the Zero MusicPlayer Help file?
In order to access the Zero MusicPlayer help file simply press the "F1" key on your keyboard while Zero MusicPlayer is the 'top most' application. You can also access the help file by way of the 'Context Menu'. In order to open the context menu right click the Zero MusicPlayer or press the 'Context Menu' key (available on most key boards) while Zero MusicPlayer is the 'top most' application.

In order to make Zero MusicPlayer the 'top most' application simply click somewhere on the Zero MusicPlayer with the mouse cursor.
